What We Do
We provide a platform and catalyst enabling people to explore, realise and value their full potential through creativity.
As an arts based community development company we use art in a dynamic way to support regeneration, social cohesion and community development. We prioritise work with hard to reach and socially excluded individuals, groups and communities.
We work with these groups using discussion and creative activity with the aim of raising awareness of issues within the group and/or community. Our methods of working are a mixture of community development techniques combined with arts based activity. Creative activity is used as a tool for the encouragement of self expression, thereby enabling communities and individuals to develop and move forward whilst acquiring a range of skills, and raising self esteem and self confidence.
Most projects culminate in the production of an end product made by the group which usually consists of high quality educational materials relevant to their own community needs.
