Established in 1985, we deliver innovative and effective arts-based projects in communities across the North West region of England. 

We are unique in that we can facilitate any arts project in any community to a very high standard whilst making the project bespoke to meet groups’ needs. The unique range of work we can offer is broadened by the range of processes, materials and skilled professionals we employ. Such range allows Prescap the scope to tailor projects to a communities needs and so offers genuine and supported choice.

It has developed a network of local artists which work in a variety of arts and creative media yet predominantly visual arts. Prescap’s Project Director matches the artists’ skills and experience with groups’ needs.

The Charity has four permanent members of staff and employs eight other members of staff who are project funded:

Arts Based Community Development (ABCD) - one person
Arts Award - two people
Community Support - one person
